I was near La Fromagerie recently and decided to stop in and see what looked good. They had some interesting Caprini Tarfufo rounds. The rounds smelled "interesting" (goat's milk and black truffles?) Always up for a challenge, I picked up a couple.

At the Bayou City Farmers Market in Houston, Blue Heron Farms sells some wonderful goats milk cheeses. My parents raved about the Feta, so naturally I had to see what made this cheese so special.
This Feta is not brined, just salted and aged, so it doesn't taste like traditional Greek ...
